Good Music

This month has brought some GREAT new music just in time for the holidays!

First up we have the Kang, T.I., with his latest album "No Mercy". Now this was supposed to be his redemption record right? WELP! That is neither here, nor there, its is a solid CD from beginning to end. With appearances like Yeezy, Chris Brown, Eminem, The-Dream, Drake, Christina Aguilera......list goes on, how can this not be a hot album? Something for everybody. A couple of my favorites definitely being "Welcome To The World", "Get Back Up" and "Poppin' Bottles" it's a must have!

Next up, Miss Goodies herself, Ciara, finally decided to graced us with her fourth studio album "Basic Instinct". The album was a good 50/50 for me. I found myself skipping past every other song. I would listen to one song, skip the next one, listen to another, skip the next one and repeat. It didn't help that the CD was only 11 tracks but, i guess :o/. She said it would be a return back to her first album roots, deep in the bass and giving the young Southside riding, Cascade skating Ciara. I was never really a Ciara fan at the beginning, so I'm not sure what I was supposed to be returning to. With appearances from Ludacris, Usher, and The-Dream she definitely kept it around the block. Couple of my favorites being "Heavy Rotation", "You Can Get It" and "I Run It".

Jamie Foxx released his latest LP "Best Night of my Life". Sadly this wasn't the best ALBUM of my life although it did have some highpoints. He definitely stroke a few sex strokes here and there especially with "Freak" with Rico Love, which is one of my personal favorites. My other personal peaks were "Gorgeous" which helps all you guys out there who just don't know the words to say to your SigO.

Last but not necessarily least, Keri Hilson released her sophomore try "No Boys Allowed". One of the funniest things that I first noticed was the fact that its entitled No Boys but she has only dudes featured. Was this some kind of pun, or does she consider them all men? I'm confused. Nonetheless, it was cute for what it was or is. Personal favorites include the reggae-inspired "Bahm Bahm (Do It Once Again)", "Pretty Girl Rock", "Beautiful Mistake" and "Toy Soldier". Now her song with Rick Ross, "The Way You Love Me", caught the entire world off guard. One week she's handing out turkeys to kids at Greenbriar Mall, next she's talking about fucking and pussy-poppin' on videos. We all weren't quite sure where she was going. I also wish one of her interludes "Let Me Down" could have swapped places with "Lose Control" (which sounds a lot like a Rihanna record) to be a full record, but HEY its not my album. It features other "men" such as Chris Brown, Nelly, and Yeezy. Cute for her.

I was also informed that Keyshia Cole and Diddy/Dirty Money's albums are available for download. Diddy's conceited attitude and falsie grill made me cancel my ticket for the last train to Paris. Keyshia's blue lipstick and side pony made me ignore her call for my heart.
