Ya'll know I LOVE my mother Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter with all my heart, and one of my favorite songs from her is "Me, Myself & I". Every time I hear this song it still speaks to me to this day since its release in 2003. If you have ever been through ANYTHING, you can relate to this song. Honestly all we ever have in the end is ourselves. We can never rely on other people to motivate us, to love us, to care for us, nothing. So on the day that you read this just feel it and remember that when that person hurts you, you have Me, Myself and I sitting right there with you. God too if you're into that, I know I am. Kanye West Releases "All of the Lights" video

My bruvah and my sistuh (Kanye and Rihanna) have released the video for one of my personal favorites songs from "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy". Every time I hear "All of the Lights" I close my eyes and it takes me to another world. I almost get high. Sissy (Rihanna) looks good as hell, she got the girls out, Yeezy looks good with the Jordans and the skinny leather pants. We have seen that outfit already, but you know what? He can do that. Up Out My Face and Get Out My Space.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a serious issue on our hands. People need to learn their boundaries and limits.

Personal anecdote: 

Let's just start from the beginning. I make a cute little food run with my friend to Mickey D's or whatever. First of all I was pressed, with heavy starch, that every fucking McDonald's we went to "didn't have the machine" to make my damn frappe. Whyyyyyy exactly is McDonald's promoting it if every store doesn't have the machinery!? It's ok Ronald McDonald...I'll wait......budnewaydoe. So we finally find a McDonald's that has it and I get one. Wesley is good in this moment. I then walk into my dorm and it smelled TERRIBLE. I guess these dudes here don't take showers, cause that was ridiculous. I then get to my room, open my door to find that my roommate is sitting in MY chair, on MY side of the room, watching MY damn TV!!! Oh girl, you have definitely got life fucked, raw. I don't mind people using my stuff, I am VERY giving person, but not without you asking. Oh, HELL no.

When someone has personal space, do NOT invade it. Why do you think people don't like fingers being put in their face, or people invading their homes? If you're not invited, do NOT attend the party. It's really quite simple. And when you do invade personal space, do not be afraid of the consequences (i.e. a slap in your face or a slashing of the tongue).

I digress.

Jimmy Choo + Uggs = Bleh

Every girl has been ranting and raving recently about the new Jimmy Choo Ugg boots. Some people love them, others hate them. I have never really been a fan of Ugg boots. I feel like they make your feet look like a bears. I literally gagged at the price tag of them however, $495 - $795 for them ugly things? No ma'am Pam. You've lost it and I don't see it! Of course they gave a few pairs to celebs. Notice also all of them are wearing the most expensive ones. They tried it.

 My cousin Kimmy K looks cute though. Who else walks around in sweats, $800 Ugg boots and a Birkin? What do you guys think?

I'm 'Bout to Go "H.A.M."

Ok, this may be a lil' biased but my brutha' Kanye West has released his first song off of the collaborative album with my fatha' Jay-Z. Kanye tweeted last week about the song releasing and true to his word the song released today, 1.11.11, at midnight. I love it. This chorus goes HARD or HAM shall i say, with cheese. I could've done without the 55 year old women singing, but who am i to tell Kanye what to do? The man is a genius and it shows through his albums sales. Nugget for your Noggin': Rejection

Listen, rejection is apart of your life. A lot of people have issues with being rejected in a club, being rejected from a college, or just rejection all together. IT....WILL....BE....O.....K. I promise you life will move on and proceed the moment that person says no. Let me give you a few tips I've learned on my journey....


1. You have to try. How will you ever even know the answer if you don't even try? Whenever you see something you want, go after it THEN because you will try to talk yourself out of it. You see that fine ass thang across the dancefloor go THEN, don't wait, go THEN cause you'll talk your self away. At least go and make your interest known. [That is of course unless they are with a SigO (significant other), in that case, back off jezebel!]

2. Play by ear. If that person is giving interest back, keep going with it. If you're getting short answers like "Yea", "No", "Maybe"....it's time to cancel that order and move on. You can usually tell if a person is interested by our natural instincts. If the person is playing games move on as well because no one deserves to have their emotions played with. One word of advice also, don't mistake kindness for flirtation. I know a lot of times I will just entertain conversation because I hate when people are rude and don't speak to me. I try to make it clear that I'm not interested but er'body aint as nice as me. But again you should be able to tell.

3. Trust yourself! Never doubt your powers because you give all the power to doubt. You are a lot stronger than you think. Be realistic and you will be fine.
